Month-Long Photography Competition

You have a whole month to interpret life in Putrajaya at your leisure! What’s more, besides winning cash prizes, your winning entries will be displayed in an exhibition for all to admire!

Who can participate?
The Competition is open to all MyKad holders. Students will be judged against other students while the Open category will be judged in totality.

• Download the official entry form and fill it out.
• Submit your entry together with your selection of photographs (a maximum of 3 entries per participant).
• Each photograph must be accompanied by a submission form listing your name, contact information and entry fee.
• Mailed in entries must be accompanied by Cheque or Money Order addressed to Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd
• Entries submitted without the proper forms and payment will be disqualified
• Putrajaya Holdings retains the right to refuse any entry for any reason

Submission of Entries

• Submit prints (color or B/W). Prints or mounts may not exceed 8R ( 8" x 10" ) in size.
• All photographs submitted must be printed on Fujifilm Crystal Archive Paper.
• Proof of posting is not proof of receiving. The organisers shall not be responsible for photograph/s damage or lost during mail.
• All entries must reach us by 12 noon on 27th August 2007.

Entry Fees

Student Category
RM5 for each entry (maximum of 3 photographs per entry)
(Please submit a photocopy of your student ID for verification.)

Open Category
RM10 for each entry (maximum of 3 photographs)
** Please read the rules of entry carefully before submitting entries.

• 1ST PRIZE RM3,000.00
• 2ND PRIZE RM2,000.00
• 3RD PRIZE RM1,000.00
• 4TH to 10TH CONSOLATION PRIZES

• 1ST PRIZE RM5,000.00
• 2ND PRIZE RM3,000.00
• 3RD PRIZE RM1,500.00
• 4TH to 10TH CONSOLATION PRIZES

• All winners will be notified via post and/or online and/or by phone by 31st August 2007.
• All prizes must be collected personally.
• All winners from 1st to 10th place will be announced only at the prize giving ceremony.
• The work of all 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners together with the top 7 runners-up will be displayed in an exhibition at Putrajaya.

When’s the prize-giving ceremony?
The prize-giving ceremony will be held on 7 September 2007. All the winning entries will be included in the Photography Exhibition.

Judging Criteria
Entries will judged on the following:

• How well the theme “This is the Life!” is depicted
• Composition
• Technical aspects

• You are allowed to submit a maximum of 3 entries for the Competition.
• All entries must be in by 12 pm, 27 August 2007. Late entries will be automatically disqualified.
• All entries must include the photograph, official entry form and the correct entry fee. Incomplete entries will be automatically disqualified.
• Students will be judged in their own category while all others will be judged in the Open category.
• The decision of the judges is deemed final, and no appeal will be entertained.
