Perbadanan Putrajaya was incorporated on 1 March 1996 under the Perbadanan Putrajaya Act (Act 536), as a corporate body to administer and manage the city of Putrajaya. As the local authority, Perbadanan Putrajaya is responsible for formulating and implementing Planning and Development Control policies and the Urban Design Guidelines to fulfill the objectives and vision of Putrajaya.
