Q1: When is the Putrajaya Arts Festival launched?
A1: The Putrajaya Arts Festival is launched on 23rd July 2007 by the Minister of Federal Terriitories, Y.B. Dato’ Zulhasnan Rafique.

Q2: How long will the festival last?
A2: For our inaugural year, the festival will be spread over the period of several months to give people a chance to experience the arts in one form or another. For instance, they can come and enjoy some theatre in one month, and come back again some other time to take part in our photography competition. As the festival gains pace and becomes well known, we will be condensing the time frame down to a fixed period.

Q3: Is the Putrajaya Arts Festival going to be an annual event?
A3: Yes, of course, with more events, more artists and more international acts.

Q4: What type of content will be featured in the festival? Are they mostly local?
A4: Because this is our inaugural year, we will be starting modestly, so most of our events will be Malaysian in nature. For instance, we have a Photography as well as Watercolour competition that will highlight the many attractions found in Putrajaya itself and our theatre will feature local as well as international acts. As our festival grows in pace and stature, we will be featuring more international acts.

Q5: What is the pricing for these events?
A5: For now, there is no set price for the different events. However, the tickets will be very reasonably priced compared with other venues. For example, when the musical Menopause has its run here, tickets are 50% cheaper than the other venue.

Q6: Will you be offering special concession tickets?
A6: As the festival gains momentum and more acts and events are confirmed, special season and concession tickets will be made available.

Q7: Where can I get the tickets for the events?
