Tremendous Response at Manga Workshop

Participants numbering more than 100 thronged the Original Manga Workshop that was organised on 22 March, 2008 at Multipurpose Hall, Menara PjH in Precinct 2.

The Participants enjoyed the opportunity to further their knowledge of the genre and meet up with other Manga fans, as well as learn from renowned Manga talents in the region. At the workshop, participants were also able to view an exciting showcase of prominent Manga artwork.

THE ORIGINAL MANGA COMPETITION

Write and illustrate an original MANGA* and win exciting prizes!

Are you a MANGA artist? If you are, this is the competition you waiting for. Your change to have fun, showcase your creativity and win some cool prizes too!

The Original MANGA Competition is open to all MyKad holders who are over the age of 12 by 1 January 2008. The MANGA must be an original creation and never been published before. It can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

1st Prize - RM5,000 & 1 year comics subscription

2nd Prize - RM3,000 & 1 year comics subscription

3rd Prize - RM1,500 & 1 year comics subscription

The competition begins from 26 January till 15 March 2008. Winners will be notified of 22 March 2008 during the Prize Giving Ceremony and MANGA Workshop.
